Green Griot Gathering

African storytelling is a call and response interaction. There are distinctions of storytelling from Africans who still practice this art all over the world. In the modern world, storytelling techniques such as music, chant and audience participation make up the best presentations of African storytelling. Communication methods such as video and the internet now allows anyone to experience the joy of an African story well told.

Empirical stimulation of the five senses helps to create a memory. Use of color, sparkle, music, song, foods, chants, shaking hands and embrace and wonderful aromas aid in embracing the experience.

The storytellers or “Griots” know people will listen if the stories are fun and entertaining. An audience that is laughing or otherwise experiencing deep emotions will be fully engaged in the story and therefore open to more learning.

Morals and instructions in proper conduct can be found in African storytelling.

The first Griots certainly did entertain but they also served as vessels of moral guidance. It is rare to find an African story that does not convey deeper meanings. Each time a person hears a story, even when it is repeated, they may find a new perspective on the teaching.

Animals, Insects, plants and other forms of nature are part of the African storytelling process.

Familiar players, such as Anansi the Spider, show up in many African stories. No matter how they are portrayed, such characters as the weaver-bird, the lion, mosquito and the hyena all become players in this special storytelling. Trees, lakes, rivers and other plants provide a geographical reference as well.

African storytelling can teach historical lessons.

Storytelling is a way for any culture to pass on its history. From stories from Africa, generic terms used now such as “Hero” “King & Queen” or “family” once had real names, meaning and a place in the geography of the Africa. These stories, still told with names in some parts of the world, help the audience to know where they fit into the world and history.

Amen Par Ankh offers African Storytelling to teach Ecology, Environmental Current Events, Recycling and Urban agriculture in Schools, Community Centers, Churches, and Theaters locally and across the country and the globe.

Chief Priest and King

Pharaoh (/ˈfɛəroʊ/, US also /ˈfeɪ.roʊ/;[3] Coptic: ⲡⲣ̅ⲣⲟ Pǝrro) is the title used for the monarchs of ancient Egypt from the annexation of Kemet by the Roman Empire in 30 BCE, although the term "pharaoh" was not used in the contemporary time for a ruler until Merneptah, c. 1210 BCE. During the Nineteenth dynasty, "Shekhem Ur Shekhem" ("Chief Priest and King") was the term used most frequently until the middle of the Eighteenth Dynasty. 

In the early dynasties, ancient Kemet kings used to have up to three titles: the Herus, the Sage and Bee (nswt-bjtj), and "Shekhem Ur Shekhem" ("Chief Priest and King". The Golden Heru as well as the nomen and prenomen titles were added later.

In KMT society, Spirituality was central to everyday life. One of the roles of the "Shekhem Ur Shekhem" ("Chief Priest and King") was as an intermediary between the deities and the people. The Shekhem was thus deputized for the deities in a role that was both civil and religious administrator. The Shekhem owned all of the lands in Khemet, enacted laws, collected taxes, and defended Khemet from invaders as the commander-in-chief of the army. Spiritually, the Shekhem officiated over religious ceremonies and chose the sites of new temples. The Shekhem was responsible for maintaining Maat (mꜣꜥt), or cosmic justice, order, balance, and reciprocity. A part of this included going to war when necessary to defend the country or attacking others when it was believed that this would contribute to Maat, such as to reobtain resources.

During the early days prior to the unification of Upper and Lower Khemet, the Deshret or the "Red Crown", was a representation of the kingdom of Lower Khemet, while the Hedjet, the "White Crown", was worn by the kings of the kingdom of Upper Khemet. After the unification of both kingdoms into one united Kemet, the Pschent, the combination of both the red and white crowns was the official crown of kings. With time, new headdresses were introduced during different dynasties such as the Khat, Nemes, Atef, Hemhem crown, and Khepresh. At times, it was depicted that a combination of these headdresses or crowns would be worn together.

O thou god of a million years, whose body pervadeth all things,whose face is beautiful in Ta-Tchesert, grant thou to the Ka of Ausar the scribe Ani, splendour in heaven, power upon earth, and triumph in the Other World. Grant that I may sail down to Tatu in the form of a living soul, and sail up to Abydos in the form of the Benu bird ;  that I may go in and come out without being stopped at the pylons of the Lords of the Other World. May there be given unto me bread-cakes in the house of coolness, and offerings of food in Anu and a homestead forever in Sekhet Aru, with wheat and barley therefore.

Juneteenth

The celebration of Juneteenth, by people of Afrikan descent is one of the oldest commemorations of the Civil War and the Emancipation Proclamation ending the enslavement of specifically people of African descent in the United States.

On September 22, 1862, President Abraham Lincoln issued the preliminary Emancipation Proclamation, which declared that as of January 1, 1863, all enslaved people in the states currently engaged in rebellion against the Union “shall be thenceforward, and forever free.”

Yet this document only applied to enslaved people in the Confederacy, and not to those in the border states that remained loyal to the Union. The Emancipation Proclamation itself did not end the enslavement of people of Afrikan descent in the United States. It only applied to the 11 Confederate states then at war against the Union, and not under Union control. To make emancipation permanent would take a constitutional amendment abolishing the institution of slavery itself.

The 13th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, ratified in 1865 in the aftermath of the Civil War, abolished slavery in the United States. The 13th Amendment states: “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.”

The reason why Juneteenth was coined was that it took many days to reach the remaining lynchpins of southern Confederate states and Cities that still legally held Melanin people in captivity. So between June 13th- and June 19th, the celebrations of emancipation were varied. On June 19th, 1865, Galveston, Texas observed the Emancipation of enslaved people of African descent.  

This year of 2021, Juneteenth as the African American Emancipation Day, which has spread across the United States and beyond, was recognized by the United States as a National Federal Holiday. Juneteenth commemorates African American freedom and emphasizes education and achievement in a week, and in some areas a month marked with celebrations, guest speakers, parades, concerts, Bar-B-Ques, and other family and social gatherings. It is a time for reflection and memorial of our Ancestors who sacrificed their liberty and lives for future generations. It is a time for self-improvement and for planning the future. Its growing popularity signifies a level of recognition, maturity, and dignity from the United States that is long overdue. In cities across the country, people of all nationalities and political philosophies, are joining hands to truthfully acknowledge a period in US history that shaped and continues to influence our society today. As we all become more sensitized to the conditions and experiences of other people in multiculturalism, can we then make significant and lasting improvements in our own society as People of Afrikan Descent?

General Order Number 3

One of General Granger’s first orders of business was to read to the people of Texas, General Order Number 3 which began most significantly with:

"The people of Texas are informed that in accordance with a Proclamation from the Executive of the United States, all slaves are free. This involves an absolute equality of rights and rights of property between former masters and slaves, and the connection heretofore existing between them becomes that between employer and hired laborer."

The celebrations that followed the reading of the Emancipation Proclamation by General Gordon Granger began a tradition that has lasted for one hundred and fifty-five years, and today is hosted in cities across the United States and beyond. The U.S. Government with the rally of many political figures of Afrikan Descent, Established Juneteenth as a National Federal Holiday. YET from 1619- to 1865, then to 2021- the United States has yet to recover or even Acknowledge that Reparations must be delivered, for the Utter debasements and exploitations that are still happening in the United States to people of Afrikan descent. BLACK LIVES MATTER TOO!

Vs Reparations

Many People of Afrikan Descent have settled with living in a "burning house", as Dr. M. L. King Jr. spoke to Harry Belafonte: “We have fought hard and long for integration, as I believe we should have, and I know that we will win. But I've come to believe we're integrating into a burning house." 

In his march to Washington for Jobs and Justice he continues: 

“Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the Emancipation Proclamation.... But one hundred years later, the Negro still is not free. One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. One hundred years later the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. One hundred years later the Negro is still languished in the corners of American society and finds himself in exile in his own land. And so we’ve come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.”

He continues, “In a sense, we’ve come to our nation’s capital to cash a check. When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence (Yeah), they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall, heir...  It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned.”

So it seems with the formal Federal recognition of Juneteenth, we are expected to take a holiday as (or in lieu of) Reparations. This is 2021. It has been 156 more years since the 13th amendment was signed with the strategy of legally criminalizing people of Afrikan descent for the purpose of Genocide or returning them to human trafficking for enslavement. Now we have the Prison Industrial Complex, The working poor for slave wage jobs, The hideous crimes still occurring in the Foster Care system, Sex trafficking, and the forever wars of the military-industrial complex.

 The US Government owes a debt, not only for the capture, human trafficking, and abject abuse of people of Afrikan Descent but for the Institutional systemic racism, Jim Crow Laws, Redlining/ segregation, and inequity in the United States across the board.  Many have made great statements about Juneteenth, that should be reflected upon and followed.  Yet, Why do we even care to participate, in any form, on this particular Negropeon day- of Juneteenth- on June 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, or 19th? The Emancipation Proclamation was only a political and war tool, drafted to halt the secession of the Confederates in the south, from the Union of Colonizers from Britain, by crippling the South from their harvest exports. Even though many people of Afrikan Descent and many who are nations who were here in North America long before the year 1492, who fought on BOTH sides of the Civil War. Enslaved African American descendants have NEVER received our 40 acres and a mule. 

The Indian Removal Act was signed into law by President Andrew Jackson on May 28, 1830. This Act authorized the president to grant lands west of the Mississippi in exchange for Indian lands within existing state borders. A few tribes went peacefully, but many resisted the relocation policy. So this was going on before the Civil War.

During the Indian removal by the US Government, people of Afrikan Descent were thrown off of the Dawes rolls, or our records were burned down to remove our status as Native Americans. 

We have yet to see ANY Reparations for people of Afrikan descent recognized as a nation or ethnic group. 

Many of our Ancestors were (and are Still) the cash crop commodity for exploitation by the United States. The Integration/Desegregation and Assimilation policies of the US only opened the gateway for free-range enslavement through sharecropping and Jim Crow Laws that were enacted as a backlash of the Confederates. So the Confederate plantation owners were paid our restitution and reparations, and they are now creating a mass resurgence in the United States with the money that moonshiners made creating Ethanol fuels and grain Alcohol for COVID-19 sanitation products. This led to the January 6th Attempted Coo on the United States Capital. Many people of Afrikan descent are still sharecropping, as the working poor on a quicksand foundation of low unlivable wages and Government benefits. Many are just cash cows, still renting someone else's white-flight abandoned house and many still have Redlining and sundown laws still attached to the warranty deeds. Black Afrikan Americans are invisible and voiceless.

Yes, our Ancestors, who were people of Afrikan Descent, fought in and survived the Civil War, pooled their money together to build educational institutions, and purchased Farmlands that many were later lynched off of. Many of these educational institutions are now underutilized and are contesting to remove their HBCU status.  

As the Human Rights movement for People of Afrikan descent changed to a Civil rights movement for feminists and other fringe groups, The desegregation/ Integration of our communities and the bombing and burning of our Black-owned Businesses began.  Now Black people Consume from Integration to assimilate into an alien US culture that rejects Afrikan American influences. Now People of Afrikans Descent wear their clothes, use their names, practice their religions, Teach their own children miseducation and pseudo-sciences, eat their toxic foods that were grown on stolen land, drink their liquor, and smoke their poisons, drive their cars, put on their fake fingernails, eyelashes, and weave/wigs- of the very people who have oppressed and are still pursuing the genocide of people of Afrikan descent. They have locked up our children in institutions, to be the wards of the state, They have executed our children for crimes that they did not commit. They Abduct our children to be used for organ harvesting, in science experiments, and bomb and weapons testing. Their arts industries have even exploited and changed the keynotes and hertz range of our music. They have exposed us to their clinical trials for terminal diseases, experimental surgeries, and vaccines. They have even changed the time of the day (DST) to disrupt our natural Circadian rhythm and lower our immune systems!

We are better off to celebrate the legacy of our Great Ancestars on our own Sacred Days- of the Solstices and Equinoxes... 

The Ausarian Resurrection- The longest day of the year is a REAL AND NATURAL EVENT!  Occurring Every June 20th, 21st and 22nd when the Sun stands still for 3 days. 

YES We need our own times for reflection. We should be fasting and cleansing our bodies in preparation of the Ausarian Solstice to prepare for an abundant harvest in the Autumnal equinox, where we celebrate Umoja Karamu. We must GROW OUR OWN FOODS! Appropriate our own water, CREATE OUR OWN Natural healing MEDICINES, PRACTICE OUR OWN WEAPONS FOR DEFENSE. 

We must release the martyred prisoners of War who are still the cash commodity and human clinical trial and sexual abuse victims.

We must TAKE our Reparations. Freedom cannot be given- It MUST be TAKEN! Yes I am an advocate for our own Nationhood on our own land RIGHT HERE IN THE AMERICAS!

What happened to reciting the Maranda Rights By Police officers? What happened to innocent until proven guilty by a court of Law?  It seems that it is more profitable now, for a police officer to target and kill People of Afrikan Descendancy: so-called "suspects" than it is to de-escalate, charge them with a crime, and bring them into custody! That's too much paperwork, too much to lose with the rights of a defendant, procuring evidence, allow them to post bond, acquire a Lawyer, and too costly to the taxpayers to guard, feed, clothe and house an innocent, often unarmed, black-skinned person until trial for Justice! So, let's not charge them with a crime and cut out the middlemen- Attorneys, continuance clerks, court appearances, judges, bailiffs, etc.,

They must have enough melanin youth, Women, and Men incarcerated in private prison industrial complexes all over the country now to make a new world order plantation. So, now you can just apply sex trafficking to rape female prisoners while in custody, raise up their newborn children, through the foster care system to replace it's incarcerated, parents!

There has always been an unspoken interest to depopulate "Black" people as Liberals, Criminals, useless eaters. So now, with the patriot act, and the militarization of Police, abortion clinics on the outskirts in every black neighborhood, CoIntellPro combined, You don't have to Mirandize a minority, charge them with an offense or take them to custody. If they have dark skin, JUST KILL THEM! As the US society accelerates into fascism and martial law, and Fema camps- the US is sending drones and troops to massacre more defenseless people around the world...

We are often told that one significant impediment to solving crime in the "Black" community is the No Snitch culture. The No Snitch culture is part of the criminal culture, those who fear criminals, the community's distrust of the Police department, and the Justice system. However, far more insidious, reprehensible, and diabolical is the Blue Wall of Silence. This is where sworn officers of the court, those who have taken an oath to "Protect and Serve" violate their oath and allow, witness, tolerate, suborn or cover-up illegal activity and abuses by fellow officers and remain silent! It is this Blue Wall of Silence that has allowed for the Murders of Tamir Rice, Eric Garner, Michael Brown, Philando Castile, Alton Sterling, Sandra Bland, and Freddie Gray. If the so-called Good Cops are knowledgeable about these abuses but are silent then they are complicit in these abuses including murder. People are being "Radicalized" by Livestream videos and are being made to realize that they are not alone. They now know that what is happening to them is not isolated and that it is not somehow their fault. Out of desperation and blind rage, they are striking back in the way America teaches them how to handle this type of injustice. Thus far, the two assassins are EX- U.S. military "Rambo" types gone rogue and it ain't pretty. My prayers go out to the families of officers who were unjustly, randomly and arbitrarily killed as WELL as to the thousands of victims of racially targeted or random victims of murders and assassinations by Police officers. Clearly, the tolerance threshold for the acceptance of this continued Police brutality has been reached and exceeded. The killing of those Police Officers though tragic may serve as a warning that the acceptance of Police misconduct will no longer be tolerated. Tear down the Blue Wall of silence!

After all, the 13th Amendment was just appeasement for the Civil War. The U.S. can still segregate, redline, and re-enslave Black Skinned peoples in "private" institutions... The 13th Amendment (Amendment XIII) to the United States Constitution only abolished slavery and involuntary servitude- EXCEPT AS PUNISHMENT FOR A CRIME. So now Black-skinned people are considered criminals and not citizens.





Yet, If a racist police officer who "feared for their life," Kills an innocent person, they know that they will be treated like a hero! They get FULL PAID leave (using our local tax dollars) and then a full pay retirement package (using our local tax dollars,) with relocation and armed guards for the rest of their lives, upon their non-indictment! Oh! internal or outside agencies will NEVER check these officers for steroids, alcohol and illegal drug abuse, while on the job or even a history of abuse or PTSD! Anybody can be hired, with the only qualification- a high school diploma!!!...

So; Making eye contact while Black, spilling your blood on their uniforms while Black, smiling while Black, speaking to a police officer while Black, being a child or mentally handicapped adult with a toy gun while Black, Driving down the road while Black and be racially profiled, to be a Black woman, removing the jaws of a police dog from around the jugular vein of your neck or groin while black, to have your neck broken for selling CDs while Black, or be strangled for selling cigarettes while black, To be a teen walking home from with candy and tea from a convenience store, wearing a hoodie, while Black, or to be raped and hung while in police custody while Black, means that you have "committed suicide!"

The Civil Rights movement has proven that the US system cannot legislate against hate and bigotry. So White privilege is still running unchecked in most departments.

*It used to be required that Police officers serve as ministers of peace, who lived within the community that they serve. That meant that they knew the students and parents like neighbors.

*Police officers should at least attend and commemorate community celebrations like graduations, Ballgames, Community achievements and other success stories, not as a hostile display of force, but as ministers of peace.

*Police officers should return to being community servants and not the Bounty Hunters, Slave Patrollers, Acting members of White Supremacy organizations as their alternative agenda, and predatory guard dogs for corporations, businesses, private interest groups, and drug distribution, that support and finance white supremacy.

*They should not target and use Black people to fill a quota system for the City and corporate prisons and extort and harvest tax money through excessive fines and charges.

* Police Officers Must Never target defenseless people with sexual harassment and exploitation.

*African Americans need Autonomous neighborhood Patrols and our own private security contracts, with community workers, Black Community representatives, outside monitors as well as employees. We need our own Police, Fire/ Rescue emergency, and Paramedics who have been recruited from the same neighborhoods and communities that they serve.

*We also need OUR OWN Private Autonomous community developments monitored by our own private Patrol and Security services for self-police. Much like the Native American tribal councils, we can establish our own societal structure that encompasses a council of Elders, security, self-police, fire/ rescue- coming from our own community.

*We first must move from the Assimilated, Integrated, individual- multicultural- codependency-mindset-that we feel the need for outsiders to invade and work to control us, and people who(look like us) but do not participate or practice our ethnic and cultural backgrounds, to be involved in our lives and community affairs. The examples of Hispanics, Jews, Asians, etc who have always operated in their own private cloisters; show a success model for our community. It is not until Black People take the stand to be autonomous, that race-baiting accusations and issues come about- often by our own –“house Negroes” who feel the conditioned threat and need to answer to "massa".

The meaning of the "Bey" or "El" added at the end of people's last name signifies that they are returning to the knowledge of being a Moor. Bey and El are family names of people that belong to the Nation of Moors, also associated with the ancient Moabites. The name Bey or El, was used as a title as well. The reason Bey or El has been removed from so-called "black" people in North America is due to the fact that people who have Melanin, were raided in the Americas, kidnapped from their own lands right here in the Americas, human trafficked, and held captive as prisoners to be forced to work on plantations in the US Maritime occupation of the Americas. During the period, of the Trans-Atlantic Wars, Moors who were captured were stripped of their land, nationality, divine creed, or anything linking them to their Title, Nation, heritage, Language, Ethnic Family, and names, through Paper Genocide. So now when you see -Bey or -El titles added to the last name, it is merely so-called black people returning to the ways of their ancestor's true identity of being Moorish, and also returning to their divine creed of Islam. They did not give up the last names that their ancestors took on, because they carry that to always be linked to their ancestors and as a reminder of the brutality of their captivity and the stripping of their nation of people, reducing them to sub-human status. The annexing of Bey or El brings them back into the families of nations. Those people who change their name when they return to Islam are taking on an Arabic name, yet that is not a prerequisite to practicing Islam.

 

Here are five Kushite/Khemetian/Moorish titles of nobility that ties so-called "Indian"/"Indo"/"Indios"/"Indus", "Blacks" to the sovereignty of America/Amexem/Al Moroc/North Gate:

These five titles also belong to the "Five Civilized Tribes".

The Title El means God or power, Executive, Law Maker, Creator

Bey means ruler or landlord, Enforcer, Officer,

Dey means knowledgeable,

Al means the same as El (Feminine/Goddess),

Ali means exalted or most high.

As for Titles, we must at the primary and foundational level be Els and Beys BEFORE self-assigning titles that are earned by Degree.  It is likened to wanting to come in and go straight to the highest degree without foundational and primary knowledge to support the climb.  The other titles Al, Dey, and Ali are reserved for the functioning of the Nation by degrees that MUST NOT be self-assigned.  Many may wish to ignore these principles, however, the universe does not allow circumscribing.

El -  the lawmakers, lawgivers, likened to Executives.

Bey -  law enforcers, O-Bey -- the law.  A MUFTI is a Mohammedan Judge

Ali - is a title reserved for those who are, or who have reached a Master degree in their line of studies, inclusive of published dispensations.  Thus is an earned title, reserved for the workings of the Nation and not to be self assigned.  Many get it confused with their corporate state Masters Degree, however, if you read "Religious Controversy', from the "Moorish Literature' booklet, there is information regarding those who have received those degrees and the mental state they are in whether they recognize it or not.

The Twa/Khoisan of Akabalan, Are the oldest people on the planet. We are Souls (Sol) having a human experience. Many of our kindred can trace their life ancestry to The Dogon and Po Tolo.  “The Dogon”, are a tribe in Mali who found stars called "Po Tolo.”  These stars have been celebrated by this particular group of people for centuries. Yet, they can see them with the naked eye! Many of our people acknowledge that we are from the dimensions of the universe.

Many Indigo communities left Europe, following the Earth's Energy vortexes, while the Caucasians subsisted, from the ruins of what the KMT societies left behind. 

After thousands of years of decline of the Caucasians, the Moors later migrated to Europe, and discovered these Caucasians, dying out from their own offensive sanitation and unhygienic practices. The Moors found their existence, appalling as they were consumed with plagues, and madness, with no water purification or proper sewage systems. The Moors taught these people how to use soap to bathe themselves and helped them build water purification and proper garbage and sewage systems. The Moors brought the Caucasians out of the Black Death and the Dark Ages of illiteracy to the Renaissance of humanity, civilization, and understanding of Ancient Arts and Sciences.

The Moors ignored the warning signs from the Bes, the Twa/Khoisan Ancient Ancestors to stay away from these Yacub/Yurugu. Mixed up with the calcified consciousness of Aryan Arab ideas and belief systems, the Moors felt compelled to have pity on the Caucasoid's self-imposed plight, to bring them aid, and to release these Caucasians from Bes' spell of the Flat Earth. Now, these Caucasians have been running rampant, on a terrorist reign of destruction not only on the Indigo Peoples but on the environment of Planet Earth for more than 2012 years!

It was the knowledge of the Moors that brought the Europeans out of the dark ages. KMT of Akabalon and Moors(blacks) were the ship-builders and map makers; yet no one remembers that the Black Moors ruled all of Europe and Latin America, including Spain, for almost 1000 years! The Original Indigo Hunter-Gatherers were NOT Neanderthals. Caucasians were crossbred as Mankind and only made their appearance on the planet 10,000 years ago. A rare few possess, what is known as O Negative blood. They rarely survive childbirth, because the blood of their fetus attacks them. The Caucasians are essentially Identity Thieves. Everything that Aryan Caucasians claim, own, or represent was stolen from Indigo people. The Moors, who conquered and governed Europe for almost 1000 years. broke the spell of Bes, the Curse of the Dark Ages, and the Flat Earth, which was able to contain the caucasoids into a small area in the north, for Aeons, where they were afraid to cross.
