“Knowledge of self is the key to healing and freeing ourselves from global Maafa.”

We model our homeschool after ACECC which was a Contract School operated in cooperation with what was known as the Kansas City, Missouri School District, until 2011. It was managed by the Afrikan Centered Education Taskforce Incorporated (ACETI). The Afrikan Centered Education Collegium Campus was composed of three buildings serving scholars K-12, located on a 40.2 acre campus, west of Swope Parkway between 63rd Street and Meyer Blvd. ACECC disseminated the knowledge of the best of global Afrikan achievements, often written out of history, to prepare our youth for the global world, to pursue leadership, invention, production and enterprise, yet to also be committed to their own local wealth-creating community and economic development.

Steps to Community organizing,

In the 1990 Adenike AmenRa graduated from KU and left a domestic violent relationship, only to come to the Kansas City urban core, that had become the site of Cointelpro evasion of guns, drugs, and predatory police, with their victims engaged in violent criminal activities, open drug sales, and prostitution, with an underground economy and strong gang presence. She made the decision to have a positive future for her children, and the youth of the community. Sparked by the inspiration of the Black Panther Party Youth Food Program and Black liberation Freedom schools, She began studying Afrikan Dance, and traveled extensively to attend Afrikan Centered lectures and visit communities across the country. Adenike’s own Children lived most of their teen years around this positive environment of an entrepreneurial Black family and an African Centered Cultural values system of Nguzo Saba (7 principles).
With her background in Visual Communication, Crafts, and Fine Art, she grew a garden in her backyard and cultivated mulberry trees to make dyes for fabrics, and clothing with food products to set up as a vendor. She was inspired to teach in the community, obtaining her master's degree in Exceptional Education for more than a decade. She has lectured in Kansas City, and Memphis, also hosting an internet radio presence. She currently ministers and directs a Temple of Life ministry called Amen Par Ankh nestled around an urban farm of Herbs, Cruciferous vegetables, and the Three Sisters of Corn Bean and Melons.

It was her experiences with Special Education K-12, that launched her interest in creating a homeschooler cooperative network. The vision of youth growing and eating their own foods and their connection with the ecosystem and environment
In the spring of 2012, Adenike along with other Urban Farmers, Launched “Heal the Hood” in Kansas City, to work in 64128 zip code, the most desolate area of Kansas City, Missouri, aiming to provide urban neighborhoods and schools with the curriculum supported by results-driven interactive workshops, and gardening programs.

STEAMM (Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics Medicine)

Anatomy – study of form and function, in plants, animals, and other organisms, or specifically in humans
Biochemistry – study of the chemical reactions required for life to exist and function, usually a focus on the cellular level
Bioengineering – study of biology through the means of engineering with an emphasis on applied knowledge and especially related to biotechnology
Biomechanics – often considered a branch of medicine, the study of the mechanics of living beings, with an emphasis on applied use through prosthetics or orthotics
Biomedical research – study of health and disease
Biophysics – study of biological processes through physics, by applying the theories and methods traditionally used in the physical sciences
Biotechnology – study of the manipulation of living matter, including genetic modification and synthetic biology
Botany – study of plants
Cell biology – study of the cell as a complete unit, and the molecular and chemical interactions that occur within a living cell
Ecology – study of the interactions of living organisms with one another and with the non-living elements of their environment

We want school community to help fund and activate indoor and outdoor gardens with schools and their communities on a larger scale. Our goal is to address the health epidemic of Afrikan Americans, in mind body and spirit, by providing local food access as a solution to our health crisis, and advocate green Business production and career development, food production and localization using this plan. Planting the seeds (with the youth) is the key to a fruitful future, and we are taking it upon ourselves to provide the youth and community with the education and tools necessary around these issues. Your contribution is vital in making this happen.

THE STRUGGLE TO FEED OUR FAMILIES.

The ability to access high quality, fresh food in low income Black families is a major issue. Black people are dying more in the general population, from Heart Attack, Stroke, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, and Cancers than any other population. These diseases can all be controlled by better options and choices that they eat and drink. The lack of access and nutritional education has created a health epidemic in these populations. A new Canadian Study recently conducted, shows "There was a 20% higher risk of diabetes in the lowest 2 income groups compared with the highest group, which translated into an extra 2500 diagnoses of diabetes for that year," senior author of the research, Lorraine Lipscombe, MD, from the University of Toronto, Ontario, told Medscape Medical News:
TOXIC FARMING AND LONG DISTANCE FOOD TRANSPORTATION.
Food travels an average of 1,500 miles from farm to fridge by ship, plane, and truck. Pesticides leak into the soil, water, and our bodies. Industrial agriculture leads to unhealthy soil and loss of wildlife. If we localize food production and distribution on a community level, we can easily solve this problem.

CORPORATE DOMINATION. Corporate concentration causes small businesses to struggle. Consumers feel disempowered to make change. We intend to empower our communities by creating entrepreneurial opportunities around holistic health, food production, and green careers.

LACK OF EDUCATION. The leading unhealthy corporate heads spend billions per year marketing their unhealthy products to young children and families. Most families are simply unaware of the vicious cycle of low quality food and health, and furthermore, what to do to change that. Education is the key to providing communities to spark change.

How do we get the inner-city youth and families on board with creating healthier, greener, sustainable communities?

The Solution

Amen Ankh Academy and Urban Farms offer tools that can change that.

Youth Going Green Programing also has goals to work with Juvenile detention-re-entry into career fields in Urban Agriculture, as well as “You GROWW Girl- Teach a girl heal a nation curriculum, and Adenike’s Art Reduce Reuse Recycle, Amen Ankh Urban Farm, and Amen Par Ankh (Sacred Temple of Life.)

Our vision

We propose microloans for the installation of Aquaponic Systems in the homes and institutions of each group site that will be built and maintained by each student and family member. These Systems will provide a foundational economy of fish and food production for the academy. as well as the perimeter and peripheral community. The greywater and all production refuse will be filtered, composted and recycled back into the farm as fertilizer. Each body of students will work organically to leave a legacy that will be built upon by the next collective of students, much like George Washington Carver and the Tuskegee Institute, where the Students built and maintained their own school through work-study.
Amen Ankh Academy will create in effect an artisan’s guild and culture of creative craft-persons and performance artists. As well as Producers and manufacturers who will promote engineering capacities and self-perpetuation in computer aided technologies, with Land and resource acquisition and preservation.
Each student will be producing alternative ways of food production and preservation like sprouting, rooftop and vertical farming, Beekeeping, Orchards, Compost vermiculture, clay and mineral acquisition, etc.. Recycling Aluminum, Plastic and Glass,- Producing Herbal products, canning, teas, dyes, oils, etc. etc.

Each student will establish their own entrepreneurial goals and objectives to create their own production models and business plans. Creating Fine Art and Performance Arts which will be populated into e-commerce. Every student will be able to repeat and spawn a sustainable society using natural resources, anywhere in the world.

Amen Ankh Academy, has created a spoken word DVD titled the Green Griot Gathering, capturing the life and times of Urban Guerrilla Farming in Kansas City and a curriculum that bridges the gap of inner-generational dialogue around alternative medicines and food security. In order to spark the conversation with our future (the youth,) an interest has to be created, and it has to be relevant. The curriculum was designed to teach young people the importance of a localized food system, what it means to live in a food desert, and how to sustain themselves in one. Some of the activities include hands-on healthy cooking and juicing demonstrations, films, Meditation, yoga, urban Alternative gardening, introduction to Aquaponics and more. We are engaged in outreach to various communities and anticipate an impact of over 6,000 youths aged 8 to 24.

The Impact

To spark change, the interest must be created in an informative and relevant way. We want to see schools and other community Centers with equitable access to good food, have enough to eat, end health disparities in low-income and communities of color, and honor every community's right to culturally relevant, safe, and healthy food. Providing the education as groundwork, and the ability to grow food in these communities is vital. We want to localize food production, reduce energy consumption and the carbon footprint by supporting schools and communities with the education and tools to do so.

Curriculum The Amen Ankh Academy Curriculum is a Home Schooling Cooperative STEAMM (Science technology Engineering Arts Mathematics Medicine) model with- Hands on Natural Sciences, Martial Arts, Knowledge of self and life management courses. The Program works within the structure of a self-help, peer group relationship, with facilitators monitoring the group’s achievements. Pre-K-8 fundamental learning, then move onto a Montessori model of hands on individualized objectives and project based learning. Each student will construct their own IEP (Individualized Learning Program). We will use pre- approved E-Learning curriculum for core curriculum, to study and review, using a combination of two systems, Project Based Learning and a Comprehensive system (lessons played through to the end of the chapter). The curriculum is presented by a trained facilitator who serves as a mentor and guide. Hands on Performance assessments using Multiple intelligence style are administered at the end of each chapter to monitor the scholar's understanding and learning. In addition, personal growth inventory questionnaires will be completed by the participants rating themselves on a scale from 0 to 10 both before and after the course, which they keep in a notebook- journal for their own future use. In addition, Life Management Skills Survey, rating the trainee 1 – 5, is completed by the trainees, their parents or guardians, facilitators, and counselors at the end of the course.

The Amen Ankh Academy ’s social curriculum is designed to assist in the development of life management skills in eight critical areas of (1) Motivation, Habits, Attitudes; (2) Goal Setting; (3) Problem Solving and Decision Making; (4) Emotional Control; (5) Family Relationships; (6) Financial Stability; (7) Effective Communication; (8) Entrepreneurial/ vocational.

The learner will acquire at least one concept of human development coupled with instructions of how to develop the particular skill required to successfully merge the concept of behavior into the individual’s life. As they progress through the manual, an accumulation of various skills and techniques are incorporated into the trainees lives this equipping them with tools for success.
The curriculum is based on a three-pronged teaching methodology including Sensory Perception, Cypher Group Discussion, and Spaced Repetition.

1. Sensory Perception. Utilizing Hands on experiences and working with multiple intelligence- with audio-visual aids to assist scholars with reading and/or learning disabilities or who are marginally literate.

2. Cypher Group Discussion: each participant is allotted time using the “talking stick” to comment without interruption; group members may comment on what was previously said or offer new subjects for discussion.

3. Spaced Repetition: Lessons are presented up to three times to ensure comprehension and maximum retention of the principles of success, focus, determination, and responsibility.

A trained Amen Ankh staff member guides each class and encourages honest expression in the interpretation and application of the curriculum. The class size shall be approximately 15 to 20 students per facilitator. At the completion of each training session, the graduates are recognized by a ceremony honoring their work in front of their family and friends.

Indigo Veganism -Ankh Matters

Indigo Veganism All Life is Sacred

As Melanin Indigo People, the Vegetarian lifestyle, should not become another Willie Lynch polarizing fulcrum, to divide and conquer or alienate our people. It may be true that there were no ancient historical accounts of Africans or global Indigenous peoples who were culturally devout vegans or vegetarians.
Yet, I recognize, that in our contemporary society, veganism is a Kujichagulia lifestyle that many Indigo generations are building in this age for our benefit.

There are those in the so called conscious community, who will not speak to me or work with me to build, just because of my Age, Sex, Spirituality, my personal relationship or because, I am not a devout Vegan, who may have sparingly consumed locally grown organic meats, eggs, butter, cheese and honey on occasions. I am considered and treated by some Vegans, as a contaminated necromancer, who is worm infested and deranged. Even Eye must confess my own aversion from religious patriarchy and pork consumers. Yes, I feel the sting of the lash of exile and shunning from Patriarchal dogmas of Hebrews, Muslims, and Christians, and how they are controlling and micromanaging what little resources we have for divide and conquer, until we are rendered collectively ineffective.
Yet, right now, we are still living and raising our children, in enemy territory, and are moving targets as Melanin Indigo people, regardless of our religious, dietary, political, age, or sex, in the belly of the beast of Race Supremacy, under a critical fight for our very lives and that of our children. We have a lot of work to do for our own healing and that of our Children. These self-Willie lynchings that we use internally, to polarize ourselves form each other- of ageism, sexism religion-ism, Racism, dietary preferences, or smokers etc.., is stagnating.

As far as our food and life is concerned, we must seek to venerate and respect ALL life and not to take the life of ANYTHING without showing propitiation and sacrifice. We must seek to live in harmony and balance with the ecosystem of the Mother Earth for our Air, Water, Food and Shelter. Reading "How to Eat to live" Minister Elijah Muhammad speaks on the consideration, that we don't need to eat all vegetation, that we don't need to eat every day, and that we must leave some foods for the Animals to consume. Even in the Abrahamic or Levitical laws, there were foods, like shellfish, Swine, and Cloven toe animals that were forbidden to consume...

So, even the harvesting and alternative plant production measures, that have been employed by humans, along with the chemical controls, exploitation of labor, negligence in waste management, and intentional planned scarcity, by discarding foods or leaving them to die on the vine, rather than harvest, are major factors in sustainable living. Also the deforestation for building and expansion; should be challenged, with remediation established holistically. Historically, Mono-cropping deforested entire states and countries, bringing on plagues of locust infestations, drought, famine and tornadoes.

WHERE DOES OUR FOOD COME FROM?!

Many of us STILL do not grow or glean our own foods, or even know the process by which the foods we feed to our babies, is taken to these so called organic grocers, of which, so many of our Indigo peoples, are solely dependent upon!

WE TRUST AND BELIEVE THIS ADVERSE SYSTEM TOO MUCH!

YES! In Order to free ourselves WE MUST Feed ourselves! So Growing our own local fresh fruits and vegetables and even livestock must take place. We MUST be Mindful in ALL our relationships. #amenankh #blackautonomy

American Leaders and First Founders of the US Were Moors (Black Free People) Before Columbus

The true Founding Fathers (and Mothers) of America were FREE Masons and Moors (Melanin /black) Native American peoples. Many who were original peoples of the Americas -NOT SLAVES! Black Melanin people from many nationalities, were already here in the Americas and around the world before Columbus! Many were Moors and were already in the Americas! They were the Mayans and Olmec as well as the Natchez, Blackfoot, Choctaw, Seminole native America

John Hanson

Former President of the Continental Congress

John Hanson was a Merchant, Mason and public official from Maryland during the era of the American Revolution. After serving in a variety of roles for the Patriot cause in Maryland, in 1779 Hanson was elected as a delegate to the Continental Congress.

Born: April 14, 1721, Port Tobacco Village, MD

Died: November 15, 1783, Prince George's County, Maryland, MD
Nationality: American Moor
Succeeded by: Elias Boudinot
Parents: Samuel Hanson, Elizabeth Hanson
Organizations founded: United States Department of the Treasury.

The Twa/Khoisan of Akabalan, Are the oldest people on the planet. They are the Ancients and were the FIRST people to migrate to all of the continents from Akabalon (Africa), including Australia, Europe, Asia, and the Americas- as well as islands of Planet Earth! The Twa/Khosian Ancient Ancestors were the first inhabitants of Europe. Later, the Caucasians appeared and began the establishments of war cults against Indigo people, and the destruction of the natural ecosystems and the environment.

Many Indigo communities left Europe, following the Earth's Energy vortexes, while the Caucasian subsisted, from the ruins of what the KMT societies left behind.

After thousands of years of decline, the Moors migrated to Europe to discover Caucasians, dying out from their own offensive sanitation and un-hygienic practices. The Moors found these Europeans Consumed with plagues, and with no water purification or proper sewage systems. The moors taught these people how to use soap to bathe themselves and helped them build water purification and proper garbage and sewage systems. The Moors brought the Caucasians out of the Black death and the Dark Ages of illiteracy to the Renascence of humanity, civilization and understanding of Ancient Arts and Sciences.

The Moors ignored the warning signs from the Bes Ancient Ancestors to stay away from these Yacub/Yurugu. Mixed up with the calcified consciousness of Aryan Arab ideas and belief systems, The Moors felt compelled to have pity on the Caucasoid's self imposed plight, to bring them aid, and released these Caucasians from Bes' the Twa/Khoisan, who cast the spell of the Flat Earth, to contain the caucasian. Now the Caucasian has been running rampant on a terrorist reign of destruction of not only the Indigo Peoples, but the environment of Planet Earth for more than 525 years!

KMT Afrikans and Moors(blacks) were the first ship builders and map makers; yet no one remembers that the Black Moors ruled all of Europe and Latin America, including Spain, for almost 1000 years! No one remembers the names of the Moors who were the Captains of the Nina, Pinta or Santa Maria. These Ship-men had the astronomical, nautical knowledge, Protractors, compasses and maps, to be sponsored by Queen Isabella. Columbus was just an employed explorer. These Moor Captains already knew where they were going! They just went home to the Americas. They already knew that the earth was not a disc, but indeed a sphere! It was the knowledge of the Moors that brought the Europeans out of the dark ages.

Moors were already established in the Americas.

They were the Native Americans!https://amen-parankh.blogspot.com/2016/08/the-meaning-of-bey-el-ali-al-and-dey.html

Another famous Dogon Moor and Mason, who was the major contributor of the building of the United States, was Benjamin Bannaky (Banneker) Bey. Benjamin's Father was kidnapped in the Americas, and forced into enslavement.

He indeed designed and laid the Plan for The White House and Washington DC.

Benjamin Banneker

Benjamin Banneker was a free African American Genius, Dogon Moor and Mason. He was the author of the first almanac, surveyor, naturalist and farmer. Born in Baltimore County, Maryland, to a free African American woman and a freed Father from Dogon, who was formerly enslaved, Banneker had little formal education and was largely self-taught.

Born: November 9, 1731, Baltimore County, Maryland, MD

Died: October 9, 1806, Baltimore County, Maryland, MD

Nationality: American

Parents: Mary Bannaky, Robert Bannaky

Melanin people are the original peoples of planet Earth and the Mothers and Fathers of civilization!

Yet, we are continually debased and ignored by the commercial media of Kkorporatakrazy invaders and colonizers, who, like a virus, have inserted themselves all over the planet to usurp our cultures and ecological resources, as bandits and pirates

They were the Native Americans!

This is why the "Movie Avatar" was so potent and revealing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1epOAU3XxcA

Invader Kkorporatokrazy is like a rabid disease. It fosters an addictive society of voracious consumers/ Useless eaters. They have turned civilized human people who lived in harmony with creation, into viruses, while the elite feed off of and make their wealth by turning the masses into parasites.

We must end the lies, dehumanization and whitewashing that is locking out the presence and contributions of Moors/African original peoples to the Americas and global achievements from the memories and history of every child.

Amen Ankh Is Growing Green

THE TIME IS NOW TO "GROW GREEN"

Our ancestors repurposed and reused everything. You can go to many African Countries, even now and find beautiful jewelry, unique furniture, and accessories created from recycled and found items that have often been rejected and thrown away by other people.

Here in the US every city is inundated with vacant lots, which are plentiful in most urban neighborhoods. These lots can be converted to Urban Farms or community gardens, where entire neighborhoods can help plant and maintain the gardens and profit together with the farms.

We must re-connect our experiences with green initiatives. An example of how this connection is made is with recycling. This is another way is to engage our youth to go green. They can have Recycling drives, taking old clothes and re-creating, and making art with found and repurposed objects is an excellent and inspiring activity for school and neighborhood projects.

By composting, growing food and promoting other entrepreneurial initiatives can be fun and create a lifelong pursuit into the fields of Agriculture and Ecological Engineering and other GeoSciences. There are many financial endowments and scholarships available to pay for educational opportunities in green initiatives. In Missouri, Lincoln University will give a full-ride scholarship to any student who pursues a field in agriculture.

 Why should WE “Go Green?”
  • We are approaching a global food shortage
  • Cities are experiencing water shortages
  • Oil is finite
  • The demand for energy around the world is increasing
  • As above so below- We are all connected to the inner-verse and universe

What can we do?

  • Encourage and vote for elected officials who have a green agenda
  • Grow YOUR OWN FOODS AND Support People and companies who are concerned about the environment
    • Sasteh Meter Mosley has been the Green Griot of Kansas City for more than 20 years and established EMWOT a Green Micro-Economic Development initiative. His Motto is "Stick a Seed in the Ground!" As a child, Sasteh woke up from a roster crowing in his next door neighbor's back yard. He experienced his first glimpse of Urban Agriculture, with chickens, eggs, wild game, rabbits, and fresh vegetables being sold to the neighborhood. He later cultivated food in a variety of communities, for example, establishing the "Bunk-Bed" system with Will Allen in Milwaukee.
    • Mama Nuta Beqsu (Adenike AmenRa) Is a Gnome Builder. Her efforts to support the Tomorrow Children and brother Pete O'neal have been her passion and dedication for years.
    •  DJ Cavem is a green rapper sharing the good news with his family about vegan living and Urban Farming.
    • Colin Kaepernick has Personally Supported Black Lives Matter and Urban Agriculture.
    • Wangari Maathai has assisted women’s groups in planting over 40 million trees.
    • Shai Agassi wants to replace gas stations with electric charging stations
    • Will Allan is sharing the knowledge of Aquaponics and Urban Farming.
    • Ron Finley has personally supported community Gorilla Gardening
    • Van Jones helped Congress pass the Green Jobs Act of 2007 which provides $125mm to train 35,000 people/year
    • UPS saved 50,000 gallons of gas by reducing left-hand turns
    • Plants are now being operated via methane-powered gas
    • Spellman College is the first HBCU to build a LEED Certified residence hall
    • The Peace Planters and other organizations are working to shut down nuclear power plants all over the country
    • NY City plans to convert its entire taxi fleet to hybrids by 2011

  • Turn off the stove a few minutes before the food is ready – heat from skillet or pan will continue to cook food
  • Use a power strip for countertop appliances – to turn all off when not in use
  • Only turn on the Washer and dishwasher when it has a full load
  • Turn Off water between rinsing dishes- or don’t rinse dishes until you use them -to create a barrier for insects.
  • Install an attic fan
  • Install a tank-less water heater
  • Wash clothes (even whites) in cold water
  • Replace chlorine bleach with hydrogen peroxide (1/4 cup)
  • Select electronic billing and e-correspondence for all your current mail

If more people got involved in rediscovering their neighborhoods—invoking green initiatives in the process, killing, and Underground crime would actually decrease and there would be more home cottage and small businesses blooming to create sustainable revenue.
