Brief History of the Black Panther Party Free Breakfast Program for Youth

Before the Head Start program and the US government provided breakfast at school, there was a program  initiated at St. Augustine’s Church in Oakland. By the year’s end it spread to cities nationwide, feeding over 10,000 children everyday before school. The reason was simple, children who have a nourishing breakfast every morning learn better.

In January, 1969, The Black Panther Party for Self-Defense launched the Free Breakfast for Children Program. Their motto was “Serve the People, Body and Soul.”

Panther Jerry Dunigan, known as “Odinka”, serves breakfast to children at Panther Free Breakfast Program

“…If you read the FBI files you will see that even Mr. J. Edgar Hoover himself had to say that it was not the guns that were the greatest threat to the internal security of the United States of America; it was not the guns, it was the Free Children’s Breakfast Program that was the greatest threat to the internal security of the United States of America. Grits. Now why was it the Free Children’s Breakfast Program?
It was the Free Children’s Breakfast Program because the Free Children’s Breakfast Program engendered a certain following on the Black community’s part, a certain respect on the Black community’s part. I mean, nobody can argue with free grits. So Hoover saw it as a kind of… infiltration.
That’s ridiculous isn't it? Infiltration? How are Black people, who are born and raised in the Black community, who live and work in the Black community, going to infiltrate their own Black community? If anybody’s infiltrating I think its J. Edgar Hoover.” -Roger Guenveur Smith, A Huey P. Newton Story

One of the children they fed would grow up to be Public Enemy front-man, Chuck D.

It marked not only the first program of its kind in the US, but indicated a sharp shift in the political direction of the Black Panther Party. For its first few years the Party had been focused on Voting Rights, armed self defense, and Self patrolling our own neighborhoods, while patrolling the police. The shift toward survival programs was caused by multiple factors. The arrest and death of party militants, the inadequacy of community based services in their neighborhoods, and seeing the need to connect more deeply and practically with the community. Not without internal struggle, the Black Panther Party moved, in the words of scholar Alondra Nelson, "From Self Defense to Self Determination".

"The food component of the BPP was a big part of our organizing, this included our free breakfast program.. Because one thing you can guarantee in an oppressed community, is that you're going to find hunger. The fact the United States has more food than we need, and folks are still going hungry is a shame, it was a shame then, and it's a shame now."
Melvin Dickson –Organizer for free meals program for the Black Panther Party in East Oakland

The work became so effective, it drew the ire of the director of the FBI:
"The BCP (Breakfast for Children Program) promotes at least tacit support for the BPP (Black Panther Party) among naive individuals .. . And, what is more distressing, provides the BPP with a ready audience composed of highly impressionable youths.. . . Consequently, the BCP represents the best and most influential activity going for the BPP and, as such, is potentially the greatest threat to efforts by authorities to neutralize the BPP and destroy what it stands for. "
J Edgar Hoover, May 15, 1969

The mass potential of the Free Children’s Breakfast Program that was so empowering to these happy children. This was a big threat to the head of the FBI… deep. It’s also why J. Edgar Hoover was so obsessed with Dr. King and his ability to have a message and actions with mass appeal, that could unite the Black People. What is radical is to unite Black people in a mass way, empower grassroots people to have the hope to connect after the daily oppression has ground us down–and to keep coming back. Some original Black Panther Party members in NYC are still keeping on today, and organizing, and uniting, to just l-o-v-e being Black!

Tam Babies of the Black Panther Party's Free Breakfast Program
the same conditions of city and private harassment and infiltration that tore the Panthers apart, also prevented their social programs from being sustained. As their programs folded, some ideas, like the Breakfast program were taken up by the state and institutionalized, like Head Start.
The Black Panther concept of "revolutionary intercommunalism" involved the strategy of building community service programs or "survival programs", meant to develop Black autonomous, non religious, positive institutions within neighborhoods to help individuals meet their needs. The Panthers developed over 60 such community programs.
The Panthers focused their attention on the construction of institutions that provided for the communities needs. Because they knew the state and local religious institutions' response would be inadequate or non-existent, because it was an arena to politicize Black people, and because they were interested in the development of a new society.

"All these programs satisfy the deep needs of the community but they are not solutions to our problems. That is why we call them survival programs, meaning survival pending revolution. We say that the survival program of the Black Panther Party is like the survival kit of a sailor stranded on a raft. It helps him to sustain himself until he can get completely out of that situation. So the survival programs are not answers or solutions, but they will help us to organize the community around a true analysis and understanding of their situation. When consciousness and understanding is raised to a high level then the community will seize the time and deliver themselves from the boot of their oppressors. If they have a need we will serve their needs and attempt to get them to understand the true reasons why they are in need in such an incredibly rich land."
To Die for the People (Book of essays) – Huey Newton

This concept centered on Black Autonomy and self-determination, Black people getting themselves organized together so that they could survive outside the religious, education, and Negro institutions that are tied to municipal, state or federal systems, which are already under-servicing the Black people. It was not a new idea: minority communities across America had done this in previous decades to support new immigrants through communal associations and political machines.

I’m reminded of Angela Davis’ words about meeting the people’s needs where they are otherwise they will never listen to you. This program made a real difference in people’s lives and few things are more noble than making sure children are healthy and fed. I agree, this serves as a real lesson about what is radical and threatening to the system that oppresses us all.

Trayvon Martin's Death Marks the End of a Post Racial Society Delusion

Giving Honor and deepest sympathy to the Martin Family.

I would like to share my sincere, highest, humble condolences and respect to the Family of Trayvon Martin, during their time of grief and tremendous loss of our young man.

I AM TRAYVON’s FAMILY! I am his aunt, his cousins, his sister, his teacher, his grandmother, and I live in HIS world!… I feel his Absence on the planet. I am so disappointed. My Brother, Nephew, Uncle, Father, Grandfather, and son has been lynched by the “In-Just-Us” of this society, far too long. My outrage and distrust in the Police, US civic, and legal system isn't just about this out of contol security watch "z" anymore, it is about our own self-determination in controlling an oppressive power structure- that systematically emasculates and dehumanizes our men and censors and manipulates the mass media. "z" was only their attack dog for the status quo of Racism/White Supremacy, with the polarizing exile of the gentrification of undercover Redlining in residential Real Estate and, commercial businesses. So z only served the interests of that status quo. He was the watchdog for white supremacy, yet he refused to follow orders and stand down. But, white supremacy came all out to reward him with a pat on the head in the aftermath.

For our young men to be on an unspoken curfew- and invisible redline, where they cannot go out at night and walk freely down the street. That he chose to buy the toxic waste of GMO high fructose corn syrup-based Candy and Tea is a sad and fatal irony. Black people work at alien jobs, buy from alien stores, eat their junk foods, rent from them- and get shot for living in their neighborhoods; instead of organizing to create and own OUR world. Trayvon was profiled by someone who has inserted the alien oppressive stereotypes of this society into his consciousness. Mexicans and other Hispanic/Latina -latin speaking people have often leaped in and out of the WASP Privileged society structure for their own survival. All they have to do is deny their culture and speak English. We call this "Passing.

“z” considers himself to be a part of this “WASP” (White Arrogant Society of the Privileged.) This brainwashed attack dog is now celebrated and financially supported by these same WASP gated communities and political organizations!

Trayvon still matters today. The legacy of this young man’s life and his traumatic destruction and miscarriage of justice, reverberates, echoes and metastasizes as a symbol in so many matters of day to day prejudices, bigotry, stereotypes, sentiments, attitudes and actions toward our Black youth in the U.S.

Currently, in Kansas City, our youth are being racially profiled, corralled and blocked out of specific public access areas in Kansas City. They have shut our youth out of Swope Park, The Country Club Plaza,(J.C Nichols Plaza) Westport, the 39th street shopping area,  The Power and Light District and North town.

Here in KC we have the Country Club Plaza - The first Gated Community built by JC Nichols, father of "white flight," from Integration, and the Power and "Light- white- Reich" districts for example, that are heralded as elite commercial and tourism attractions.

The Power and Light District is presently a commercial business organization that has put in place watchdog security strategies that have stereotyped our Afrikan American males in particular and instituted their dress codes that attack the cultural attire of Afrikan Americans. They have also attacked Afrikan American business owners and discouraged patronage by sending city officials to nitpick and pass out city code citations, while the police, harass the patrons in the parking lots and on their way home. To address this blatant discrimination, our young people staged a “White Tee-Shirt” Protest in 2008…

Very little was changed. Even Afrikan American community leaders, dressed in full traditional Afrikan Attire, have been thrown out of businesses in this district.

The JC Nichols Country Club Plaza - Was the first Gated Community built by for "white flight" from Integration. There was a time when Blacks were not allowed to live passed 24th street, and The Plaza was a segregated area where only Black menial workers and maids were allowed to enter. They also had "Sundown Laws" in place after 6pm. Presently this area has the only local movie theater in the midtown metro area. This has created an uproar and complaints against Black youth who are seen around the fountains and high price tagged shops. KC Black parents are not organized to chaperon and self-police our youth from their own neighborhoods or sufficiently provide mentorship and assistance for struggling single parents,  or carpool and provide transportation for the youth to go in public areas. Black people are expressing so much self-hatred toward our youth, and yet, we are ignoring the fact that we are all steadily being harassed, detained, picked off and quarantined by the police, targeting mostly the blighted zip code areas where many Black elderly, disabled, lower-income single parents and those on fixed incomes are concentrated.

Trayvon still matters today. The legacy of this young man’s life and his traumatic destruction and miscarriage of justice, reverberates, echoes and metastasizes as a symbol in so many matters of day to day prejudices, bigotry, stereotypes, sentiments, attitudes and actions toward our Black youth here in Kansas City. Currently, our youth are being racially profiled, corralled and blocked out of public access areas in Kansas City. KC Black parents are not organized to self-police our own neighborhoods and sufficiently provide mentorship, assistance for struggling single parents, chaperones or transportation for the youth in public areas. Black people are steadily being harassed, detained, picked off and quarantined by the police, targeting mostly the blighted zip codes where many Black elderly, disabled, lower income single parents and those on fixed incomes are concentrated. Even though the Civil rights movement ended Legal Jim Crow Laws that included Redlining, where anyone can live in any community, with any Ethnicity, or skin color,. Yet, Afrikan Americans are still being racially profiled and pulled over in their vehicals, and harassed by cops, when they drive through "certain" neighborhoods...

Afrikan Americans are still being treated as 3/5ths human after the United States established themselves for more that 200 years in this country. In effect, our youth are being systematically captured, fingerprinted, photographed, and branded as juvenile delinquents to be treated as "Catch-and-Release" refugees in their own residential neighborhoods. This seems like our youth are pre-sentenced for the prison industrial complex. The paradox of federal penitentiaries is that the tax dollars are now given to the rural areas for each prisoner, where the majority of these prisons are built- in many cases ON THE SAME LAND THAT WAS ONCE USED AS SLAVE PLANTATIONS! So even more money is siphoned out of the Black economy and neighborhoods.

Kansas City built a brand new police campus and Black people insisted on naming it after Leon Jourdan. This monstrosity includes a forensic lab (as if there is an anticipation of more police killings, murder and crime.) Prior to this multi-million dollar building project, many of the Black Homeowners (often elderly and on fixed incomes) were forced out of their properties, without even a fair market replacement value, which prevented them from restoring their lives and being able to move into another home that was comparable to their existing way of life.  So even more money is siphoned out of the Black economy and neighborhoods. Jeon Jordon had a history of establishing an independant police force- IN LIBERIA! He encouraged self sufficiancy in Afrikan Americans, not assemilation and codependancy to a hostile oppressive society.  Our people are still being treated like captured war refugees in their own country. The confederate and Nazi flags are still waving over this country.

https://emwot-kc.blogspot.com/2013/04/killer-kc-well-well-well.html

Now on the south side of Kansas City, they are building a new nuclear weapons plant facility for the military-industrial complex, while tearing down the old, Honeywell/Bendix nuclear weapons plant- to create one great Brownfield area. In the heart of the midtown area, the city builds a brand new police campus that includes a forensic lab (as if there is an anticipation of more death by murder and crime.) Prior to this multi-million dollar building project, many of the Black Homeowners (often elderly and on fixed incomes) were forced out of their properties, without even a fair market replacement value, which prevented them from restoring their lives and being able to move into another home that was comparable to their existing way of life. The Public Education system formulated an attack against the homegrown Afrikan Centered School to replace it with a doppelganger Afro-themed construct.

What I find most disturbing is the apathy! In any other community, If we found 2 youth per week, murdered, or missing, there would be an international moratorium until there is an end to this tragedy! Yet this IS happening, all over the world, to Melanite people. Black families, overwhelmingly are not involved in the foster parents provider system. The majority of their children who are left orphaned by their imprisoned fathers and mothers, are also left vulnerable, so that the cycle perpetually continues to exspose Black children to a "Kill the Afrikan- save the child for indoctrination to serve white supremacy,... To compound this, Afrikan Americans are dying MORE from stress, and contaminated food related ilnesses to mitigate what I call the hand of death and disease, Stroke, Heart Attack, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, and Cancers!

It is so typical to hear House Negropeans attempt to rationalize a “post racial society” when it is nonexistent. I speak of arrogant classism and privilege in the oppression of man’s inhumanity against man and in opposition to our struggle for human rights in which African American leaders were slaughtered, lynched and detoured from the successful achievement of economic acquisition by Cointelpro. If you would only research the profound disparities in relationship to police and civil brutality and murder of African American Men, and the prison industrial complex, You would know that the odds are stacked against our people.

YES I AM ANGRY -I am outraged, and very hurt. I have righteous indignation about the continual and systematic injustices toward Afrikan American Men, and those who seek to rationalize and justify the wholesale lynching, murder, disenfranchisement and neo-slavery of our men from the third grade- to special education and the penitentiary. This is a cycle of violence and terrorism that our young men are daily introduced to. I had a Father and Mother in my household, with Brothers, Uncles, Sons, Students, and Grandsons that need more than just their fathers and mothers together in the household, a basketball hoop and an integrated “Kum-ba-ya”. They need to know how to live, survive and maneuver in a world of apathy, callused bigots, institutionalized psychopathic racism, invisible redlining and a treacherous civil and legal system!

So where is the "Brown- People of Color Brotherhood"? Black people are alway inclusive of "POC" but I rarely- hardly hear People of Color Speak on behalf of the interest of Black people. Mexicans and Latina act like they despise us, unless they are sexualizing or exploiting Black Women. We spend Billions, while they shoot to kill us over petty crimes.  Asians, Arabs, Islamic, and Hispanic businesse owners invade our neighborhoods that Black elders, and often children patronize because they lack the transportation and resoutces to find consistant Black businesses, yet they shoot-to-kill black people for panhandeling, or even petty theft of fake eye lashes.

Trayvon Martin also had his father and mother living together in his household- So, he didn't fit the "Single Mother household" Stereotype. Trayvon went out on the night before his murder, at the request of his little brother, and was never able to make it back home to his family or his little brother- to be a role model and a big brother to him! Yet even though Trayvon was innocent of any crime, he was caught up in the system and a world of prejudice and stereotypes and at the mercy of a no-win system of heartless, opportunist and vigilantes Dressed in blue, that have targeted our young men for genocide and menticide.   Travon was NOT a Native son, yet, he was brought into the turmoil in the United States, festered globally, of racism, white supremacy...- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Native_Son

YES! We have the same rights to our own Kujichagulia (Self-determination) -in building our own self- sustainable economic communities, just as Latinos, Mormons, Jewish, Native Americans, Chinese, Mennonites, Islamic, Italian, Japanese, Koreans, Buddhist, Taiwanese, and other communities have. WE NEED OUR OWN small businesses, land, resources, energy, militias, and police and private security! We DON’T NEED TO LIVE AS SECOND CLASS CITIZENS IN A society that still views Afrikan Americans as a “sub-class.”

I AM TRAYVON’s FAMILY. I am his mother, his aunt, his cousins, his sister, his teacher, his grandmother, and I live in HIS world… I have a right to grieve the loss of my son without the typical middle-class conservative worldview sentiments and opinions.  I hear the hateful gloating of the same old callus, insensitive and offensive, Archie Bunker's bigoted mentality. It is apparent that the US Corporatocracy may have some “demons” of their own to deal with. The US has used African Americans as scapegoats far too long.

By the way, there is no such thing as “race.” It is just another political construct (like the term urban core) to isolate, redline, dehumanize and terrorize independent communities and rob them of economic stability. There is an undeniable “skin game” that is real for melaninated peoples. This is pervasive all over the world, where Black-skinned people are hidden outcasts living in exile from the overall population and society. Indian “Untouchables,” Black Native Americans, Black Mexicans, Black Chinese, and Black Europeans often live in exile, hidden and unspoken. Yet, racial profiling still exists, along with, police brutality, the Injustice system, economic redlining, and other “white” collar criminals and invaders! When I use the word “white” I don’t speak of a race- I speak of the 1% elite class and those who identify and discriminate using this construct to receive privileges. Many Indigo people live in a state of capture bonding where they completely identify with their abuser. This is what I call Maafa Syndrome, which predates what is known as Stockholm syndrome, that many suffer from. https://amen-parankh.blogspot.com/2009/02/healing-from-maafa-syndrome.html

Rise Up From Niggers to Ngus

Our Youth have been using this word "Nigga" to define themselves and their way of life for over 2 decades now. Some adults have succumbed to lowering their standards to accommodate this word- even using it themselves and justifying it in scriptural translations, "Niger" or using these names that Western thinkers renamed our Afrikan people and countries by... 'Negro' is a Spanish word meaning 'Black.' Negro is closely connected to the word 'Necro,' a Greek word, which means 'Dead.'
The use of Negro, Nigger, Niggas -equates to the perversion of our sacred words for Khem, Mur, "Black" Ngu. The words Negro and Nigger are words that were used in the 40s and 50s, under Jim Crow Law to dehumanize, pervert, identify and mark our men, in particular and people of color over all, into a low cast classification system for slavery and genocide. Nigger, Negro are words of abuse and self hate, when they are continually used by our young people who are the victims. Many Black people think that it is ok to be defined by others, and to be called Nigger, Nigga, Negro, Colored, minority, or non-white, is acceptable. This is confusion!

How The Word For GOD, "N-Gu" (Net-ger) became Nigger, Nigga, Negro and "Niger"

The first people to corrupt the term "N-Gu" were the Roman invaders of Egypt who may have heard the term used to describe the
leader of Egypt or Nubia. The term "NGu" was later used to mean any Black/Negroid person that the Romans saw in Africa or anywhere else.

The Romans tried to invade Nubia during the early years of the Christian Era. Then, Nubia-Kush was ruled by a line of Queens called "Ka'nda ki's (Candace). One such queen and her son defeated the Roman army at Aswan, (see: http://community.webtv.net/paulnubiaempire) Egypt and burned the Roman Fort.
AND CARRIED THE BRONZE HEAD OF ROMAN EMPEROR AGUSTUS TO THE CUSHITE (NUBIAN) CITY OF NAPATA.

The Romans colonized and spread the Latin language to Europe. Due to this linguistic influence, the Latin or French term "Niger" or "Negre"  and "Negro" in Spanish.

The English colonialists and slave entity borrowed the term "Negro" from the Spanish. The term for Black people in England before Shakespeare was "Moor" or "Black-a-Moor." The English slave owners degraded and defiled the entire name by turning the Negro into a slave and turning the original term "Ned-ger" or "God" into the racist term "Nigger." One can say that they have insulted the sacred name for "God" and have oppressed the original people created by God. This phenomena is due to their own sense of inferiority.

WE MUST TEACH OUR YOUTH THAT THIS WORD IS INTOLERABLE AND UNACCEPTABLE!

We are giving our children an erroneous assumption by encouraging the use of these dehumanizing, offensive and abusive words! Nigger, Negro, Nigga does NOT EQUAL NGU!

Ngu- Negus- Naga, Ngus, Nguzo, Ngami, Nkosi and Ngoma-N-T- Nu- Nut/Net (feminine) are words of rulership, principle and power.

Negus= Amharic ngus, from Classical Ethiopic ngu, king, ruler, verbal adjective of naga, to rule, become king; (see ng in Semitic roots.)](Free Dictionary/ Wikipedia)

If you take the vowels out of most these words,  you have fundamentally the N and G. As taught by, Sba Sasteh Meter  "The N=Neteru (God), Nut/Net (Star Goddess/Principal), Nu(Primordial Water Goddess Principle), - are the oldest words for Nature, Natural Gods and Heaven. The G=Geb- The oldest word for Earth. Put the N-G together and you have Heaven and Earth." Ta also means earth ergo the Neteru- N-T

Nkosi,' means 'King,' in many Afrikan dialects. In 'Niger,' the word for 'Serpent' is 'Nyoka.' The Snake represent the sacred symbol for rising of the Kundalini chakras.  N'gola, and Nyarnban or 'Nyoke ' are from Swahili. In Basuto, the word for 'Serpent' is 'Noga.' The 'Nk' or 'Ng' is the original sound, according to the "METU NETER" by Ra Un Nefer Amen on pg. 63 states " "Ng(k)," Nada, undifferentiated energy/matter to give rise to the ninth manifestation. The ninth manifestation is known as the "Mother of all living things." Gerald Massey maintained that the 'Y' in the names is NOT a primary sound, but rather one that evolved from 'G.' Naya or Nayya in many North American Native tribal dialects also means 'Serpent.'

The Dogon God-Serpent and the KaMaTa (Egyptian) Serpents are identical. The God-Serpent is called "The One who Dances in the Shadows." In the Dogon's pantheon, the seventh ancestor transformed into a Serpent (Note: It is also within the Dogon's system of life that it takes three male spirits plus three female spirits to bring forth the Seventh generation Hu{e}man Beings, made of Spirit flowing through a Body; Showing everyone that every thought becomes physical or is made to matter in the seventh generation of thought) From this sepulcher the Ancestor Serpent rises up to dance underground in the darkness and to move toward the tomb of the oldest man (The Soul embedded in the Pineal Gland, which oversees the Third Ventricle).

According to "AFRICAN ORIGIN OF BIOLOGICAL PSYCHIATRY" by Dr. Richard King, states, "the name for serpent exists in hieroglyphics where 'Nkakais' synonymously interchanged with 'Nakaad' in the Egyptian hymn to Amen-RA, the Sun God is said to send his arrows against the serpent 'Naka.'

The Chaldeans taught the Serpent Men, Nakash-Na, warred with Sut-Typhon (Titans). China’s pyramids were built by the Moi of Vietnam and the Nakhis of Southern China, remnant of the ancient Mu (Mu'urish) civilizations.
the Vedic Sanskrit word 'Gu-ru,' meaning 'Wise' or 'Teacher' was derived from the Afrikan word 'N-Gu-ru.' There is also a chakra called the Guru Chakra, which is part of the Crown Chakra. It is two inches over the top of the head. The Third Eye or Brow Chakra (Ajna-Chakra) is also called the Guru Chakra.

'Ngu-ni' is an Ama-Zulu word that means "Ancient Ones." Ngu-ni is the group name for the Zulu, Xhosa, Swazi, Ndebele, Shangaan and Ngoni peoples.

'Ngo-nyama' means 'Lion,' another "Praise Name" for an AmaZulu King.

The connection with "Black" and "dead" is not necessarily a Negative one. (Naga the"Black Serpent," "Magnetic Current" or Ida in the Yoga traditions)

Shaman healers often depended upon journeys into other realms above and below to contact ancestors and forces and to achieve power. In the esoteric sense, when the Kundalini has been properly unleashed, it produces a multi-interdimensional process. Psychic abilities develop, such as clairvoyance, clairaudience, psychometrics, telepathy, telekinesis, levitation, healing powers, prophesy, past-life memories, out-of body experiences (Astral travel, by activation of the Solar Chakra and Soul travel, by the activation of the Crown Chakra or Third Eye, yields direct awareness of auras and chakras, for lucid dreams and vivid Life-like visions and contact with the Aku (ancestors) and spirit guides through inner voices. Thus, Black people learnt how to communicate with the ancestors through the mind via DNA memory.
'Ngr,' means "Golden One," in KaMA'at (Egypt) Medu Neter. It is another form of Geb. It is also a termed for the "King-Initiate." It is the same word as Neb Heru (Kama'at) or Nibiru (Sumerian), the Golden Light (Auric Halo).

Ngu, means "Serpent King." It is a title that is bestowed upon the KaMaTa God King (Pharaoh) Priest, who has mastered the Healing science of the Uraeus.
Nga, which means "Serpent Queen." It is a title that is bestowed upon the KaMaTa Queen, who has mastered the Healing science of the Uraeus.
Niagara (River Fall)' means 'Black' is a city in upstate New York boarding Canada.
"Nega Negast" An Ethiopian word which, means "(Serpent) King of Kings."
"Nag Hammadi" An ancient Aramaic and Hebrew scripture which means "The Serpent Black Guide."

The Naacal writings are called Neferit, or Medu Neter ("THE SACRED SYMBOLS OF MU" by James Churchward).

Neteru or 'Netjer' is the Medu origin of the word which means "God; God of Wisdom or Force of Nature". "Neteru-Ankh" KaMaTa Serpent God through whose body the Boat of Afu RA is pulled by twelve Amikhiu Neter (Gods), entering the tail and exiting the mouth, which results in Afura being transformed into Khepera, now towed into the sky by twelve goddesses.

'Nergal' is "the Healer" in the Sumerian lore. In ancient Samaria, the Anu-Naki ('Heavenly Serpent" "Sun Serpent" or "Serpent and the Rainbow") were Serpents, and Naki (E-NKI or s-NAKE) name for the Initiates of Chaldea, corresponding to the Nagas or "Snake-Kings" of the Buddhist legends, who preserves and guards the ancient truths. From these bloodlines has come the origin of the "Divine Right of Kings." There is a direct link between the Dracontia, the Lemurian, Atlantean architects and builders who were originally, the Brotherhood of the Snake/dragon, initiated by the Sumerian god E. A. or En.ki, the Serpent (Kundalini and DNA) in the Garden of Eden (Universe and Body) who is credited with building temples and teaching the people. The Medu Neteru (Hieroglyphs), cosmological monuments and institutions of the peoples of Central and South America prove indisputably the existence of communication between America, Afraka and India. Shubigaruth is an ancient Sumerian name for God, called later in Latin “Pan” (which means ALL in ALL). It is a reference to the constellation Sirius.

Nakiel- Another name of the Arch-Angel Uriel, in Hebrew means "Serpent of God," or "Knowledge of God."

The wife of Anubis (An-pu, An or Anu) was Anu-kis or A-Nuki-s (Anu-Naki, Oannes, Nommo). She sails the Celestial Boat of RA, with Sothis (Soquet, Sirius) and Satis.

'Naga,' means 'Serpent' in the Vedic Sanskrit. The Hindu Naga Serpent Gods of India are mention in the "UPANISHAD TEXTS". Naga (Nagini - fem) - Indian Serpent Ruler, son of Kadru (Kedar in Hebrew means 'Black'), daughter of Daksha, was a title of Spiritual Power among Humans. It is first important to note that the Snake (Serpent Spirit) has been a symbol of wisdom, eternity healing, mystery, Magical power, and holiness throughout most of the ancient non-western world. It's symbol is used today in medicine, and other healing professions (Caduceus; U-RAeus), - and its live descendants are hailed as sacred and used in everything from cancer drugs to sex potions. Naga represents the energy of Life and Death. The Naga spirits bring rain and rule the Underworld (the Belly or Navel Chakra), the Nagas are manifestations of 'Agni' (fire), the Spirit Guardians; divided into four classes: 1. Heavenly 2. Divine 3. Earthly or 4. Hidden. The connections between the Blacks in Afrika- and of India are strikingly similar, that even the names given to the various 'Naga' peoples of India and those of Afrika are the same in spelling and sound. For example, certain groups in Sudan are called 'Nagas,' whereas in India, Brahaman Vedic groups with racial features similar to the people of Sudan are also called 'Nagas.' "W. Robertson, "AN HISTORICAL DISQUISITION OF INDIA," Pub. 1794, Page 274. "The Brahmins, it is well known, borrowed religion, as well as, all other sciences of civilization, from the highly civilized Nagas, whom afterwards, they relentlessly persecuted." The languages spoken by the 'Naga's and other Dravidians such as Telegu, Malayalam, Kanada and others are related to the Kushite languages of East Afrika, such as Gala and those spoken by the Nilotic peoples. Moreover, these languages spread to West Afrika and far beyond India into Cambodia and South China. The ancient Indians belonged to the Kushite-Nubian Afrikan race. Of this group of ancient Afrikans, the Naga People were and still are the largest subgroup of the Kushitic speaking branch of India. In fact, the 'Nagas' retain the title 'Naga' in various forms throughout Afrika and South Asia even today. There are many examples of the term 'Naga' still being used to describe various groups in Afrika and Asia. For example, two Afrikan tribes of West AFRIKA are called "Nuga-rmar-ta" and "Nago-mina" who were establishers of great civilizations in Ghana and Mali that existed in the region before 1000 B.C.E. In the Mossi tribe King is currently called 'Naga', which is 'Naba,' which later developed into 'Nuba' or 'Nubia.' The word 'Nahas' (Nahsi) is another word for 'Nubian.' Names of tribes and nationalities such as 'Nuer,' 'Nuba,' 'Nubian', and the North Amerikan/Delaware Nanticoke nation, the 'Le-Nape'or "EL Nabe" are all related to the Naga tribes of India and South Asia." In "THE MAGIC AND FOLK BELIEFS OF THE SOUTHERN NEGRO" by Newbile Niles Puckett, he states, "Thousands of Negroes from these serpent worshipping tribes were at this time sold into slavery They bore with them their cult of the snake. At the same period these Ewe speaking slaves [sic] were taken to Louisiana (mixed in with the IX-Olmec descendants, the Washita." Long before the Caucasian barbarians infiltrated India, the Afrikan Nagas, ruled India as well as a substantial portion of Asia from Arabia to China and the South Pacific, as well as the Indian Ocean region. In India, Afrikans built the magnificent cities of Harrappa and Mohenjo-daro. It is one of the world's most glorious civilizations.
The Babylonian word 'Nabu' or the Biblical (Hebrew) word 'Nebo' is related to the word 'Nuba.' 'Nabu' or the Hebrew-Assyrian word 'Nebo' means 'Prophet or 'Eye ' as in the "All-Seeing Eye." 'Nabu' (Tehuti, Imhotep) was the son of Marduk (Asaru) was the scribe and herald of the gods. Moreover, 'Nabi' is the Arabic equivalent, which means "Master of Knowledge" and is derived from the ancient Kama'atu (Egyptian) word 'Neb.' meaning 'Gold.' 'Neb' (Serpent) spelt backwards is 'Ben,' (Phoenix-Bird or "Serpent in the Sky") short for "Ben," meaning 'Source' or 'Spring.'

"Naga-RAj," means "King of Serpents" or "Serpent King."
"Naga-bhushan," means "One who wears Snakes as ornaments of Shiva."
"Nag-endRA, means "King of Snakes."
"Nag-esh," means, "Snake in Man."
"Naga Kanya," means "Snake of the rainbow." The Naga Kanya a Seven-headed Naga, a counterpart of the God Vishnu. Naga-rjuna of India, for example, is shown with an aura, or halo, of Seven Serpents that is an indication of a very high degree of Initiation. The symbolisms of the Seven Serpents, usually cobras, are the (7) Seven Chakras, also on Masonic aprons of certain systems in the Buddhistic ruins of Cambodia (Angk-or = "Ankh Ur" means "Living Light") and Ceylon.

"Naga Lakshmi," means "Queen of Snakes."
"Naga-mani," means the "Mind (Gem) of Serpents."
'Nagal' means "Serpent-God" and is the title of the medicine men, magicians and initiates in ancient Mexico, Central and South American Indigenous civilizations. Nagal is another name of Quetzalcoatl; the Mexican "Winged -Plumed Serpent God (Kundalini Shakti energy). "
In Buddhism, Wisdom has always been tied, symbolically, to the figure of the Serpent. The Buddha resting on the coils of the Naga Serpent Mucalinda sheltered the Buddha from a weeklong rainstorm by enfolding him in his coils; this tale is from Angkor Wat. The great temple-builders of the famous Ankgor Wat were considered the semi-divine 'Khmers'

'Aguna' is the Solomon Islands Serpent Mother Goddess.
'Naggai' is Hebrew and it means "giving light: shining: brilliant: illuminating: enlightening: luminous intelligence."
'Nachash,' is Hebrew and means 'Serpent.' In Arabic, it is 'Naya' (Nayya) or 'Nachaas'; in fact, the Arabic word for "Serpent People" is 'Naas,'(gNos-is) and this is the real of the People or those made from mud "Black mud (Melanin)." 'Naasuwt' and even in English, it is s-Nake. Neke and Nakahi-Maori are also names for 'Serpents.' According to the "METU NETER" by Ra Un Nefer Amen pg 98, states"the hieroglyphic symbol for this part of the spirit is a serpent (Apep, Nak, from whence Nachash, - the "serpent" that spoke to the woman in the Garden of Eden). This part of the spirit is composed of subtle electro-magnetic energies that have the function of animating Man's life, especially the physical body. Hence, the name "animal spirit," or "anima and animus," as it was called in the Latin spiritual tradition. Our modern use of the term "animal" to denote the creatures that are thus identified is an example of muddling thinking. All things in this world are infused with this animating spirit, called the Kundalini Prana."
'Nazarene' (Nasarene, Naaserene or Naas) is a Hebrew (Her Web/Het Heru) word which means "Aider, Helper or Friend;" according to "WEBSTER'S DICTIONARY" means "a native or resident of Nazareth 2a: Christian" From the Hebrew (Het Heru, as in the Golden Calf/Heb Heru) word 'Nazar-ene,' 'Nasir' or 'Nasar'/ 'Ansar' or 'Naas;' the Greek word 'Gnosis' or 'gNosis,' which means 'knowledge,' 'recognition' or 'intuitive' and the word Greek word 'Essene,' which is derives the word Essence, meaning "the individual," 'real,' or ultimate Nature (Neter) of a thing 2: something that exists: ENTITY. The 'Essene' "a member of a monastic brotherhood of (real) Jews (Her-Web/ Heb-Rews/ Het Heru) in Palestine from the 2nd century B.C. to the 2nd century A.D." Both words are derived from the Heb-rew word Nazi-r.

'Nazareth' a town in Palestine, which did NOT exist until after the so-called death of Jesus Christ.
'Nazirite' or 'Nazarite' according to "WEBSTER'S DICTIONARY' means "a (real) Jew (Heb-rew or Het Heru, the "House of [Heru]-Light) of biblical times consecrated to God by a vow esp. to avoid drinking wine, cutting the hair, and being defiled by a corpse." The German word 'Nazi,' the German fascist party controlled under Hitler in 1933 to 1945, is also derived from the Heb-rew word 'Nazi-r' or 'Nazi-rite.' In addition, the "HOLY BIBLE" speaks of Mount 'Nisir.' The "HOLY BIBLE" states that Jesus was a 'Nazarene,' from Nazareth (Even Though, Nazareth was NOT a town until years later after the so-called crucifixion (crucifixion). Hence, the origin of the "HOLY BIBLE NEW TESTAMENT" Matthew 10:16 verse "Be ye therefore wise as Serpents, yet gentle as doves."
In China, the Naga is given the form of the dragon, also called the "dragon Spirit" and has a direct association with the Emperor-King, and is known as the "Son of Heaven." In Tibet, they are still known in a symbolic sense and are called "Lu (D-rag-On)!"

The word Naga is rooted in Sanskrit and means "Serpent". In the East Indian pantheon it is connected with the Serpent Spirit and the Dragon Spirit. It has a equivalency to the Burmese Nats, or god-serpents. In the Esoteric Tradition it is synonymous for Adepts, or Initiates. In India and Egypt, and even in Central and South America, the Naga stands for one who is wise.
"N-G-R"(pronounced "Net-ger") The word "Net-yer" or "Net-ger" from which the English terms "nature" and "nurture" came from. The idea of God being nature and nature being God, comes from the African and KaMaTa idea of what God is which shows down to the similarities in the terms used to describe aspects of the Godhead.

THE SACRED "N" IN THE AFRICAN AND AFRO-ASIATIC LANGUAGES

The letter "N" is one of the most important prefixes in the African, Afro-Asiatic, Indo-Negroid, Negro-Australoid, Melanesian, Australian Aborigine, Austric, Kong-San (Bushmanoid), Sudroid languages. In fact, the sacred "N" as in "Ni-han" (Rising Sun) OR "NG" as in "ChaNG," (ChaNGo in Manding-Congo), "Ndong" in Vietnamese (Ndongo (Angolan Kingdom) in African Manding-Congo languages) is also found in both Chinese and Japanese. In fact ancient Chinese, Vietnamese, South Indian, SriLankan, Melanesian, Australian Aboriginal and modern Japanese show strong similarities to Bantu (proto-historic Sahara, Niger-Congo), languages (see "African Presence Early Asia," by Ivan Van Sertima and Runoko Rashidi) See also the works of Clyde A. Winters also go to: http://community.webtv.net/nubianem(HISTORY TIMELINE) andhttp://www.cwo.com/~lucumi/runoko.html

The letter "N" is also the word that denotes any title pertaining to human beings. In fact in Bantu or Niger-Congo and Cushic languages, the letter "N" is found as the first letter in many names. For example the name "Ndaba," = "council" while the name "Ndabaningi" is the first name of Africans in region thereof.

"N-G-R" (Net-ger) was seen as a representation of the sun and the Sun God. The original Pharaohs who were pure Black.  Afrikans SAW BLACK SKIN AS SACRED AND A DIRECT BLESSING FROM THE SUN GOD, AMEN(ATEN, ATUM.) In fact Blackness and Black skin became associated with God and the sun. BLACK PEOPLE WERE POWERFUL, CULTURALLY ADVANCED, MILITARILY SUPERIOR, BLACK/DARK/BROWN IN COMPLEXION, STRONG STATURE, TALL AND DESCRIBED AS A "HANDSOME" RACE , (SEE HERODOTUS, "THE HISTORIES, DESCRIPTIONS OF "ETHIOPIANS" OF AFRICA AND SOUTH INDIA).

The recognition of the Pharaoh as a living God and the black skin as a blessing spread worldwide to other cultures. In fact the term "Net-ger" became the Ethiopian "Negus" or "Negashi."

In the Sudroid (Indo-Negroids of India) languages of India, which are part of the Cushite branch of the African languages, the term "Naga" denotes original or first.
In fact, in ancient India, the people with the blackest skins were respected and held to igh esteem, unlike today where the racist, colonialist and alien concept of "varna" or castecolor racism places Sudroids, Indo-Negroids, Black Tribals, Dalits, Negro-Australoids and other BLACKS AT THE VERY BOTTOM OF INDIAN SOCIETY.
See www.dalitstan.org/books/sudroid

The term "Ngola" (Angola) means "King" in the Angolan languages. This term was mistaken by the Portugese to mean the DESCRIBE "Ndongo," the kingdom.

NEVER FORGET THE WORD IS "N-Gu" OR "NET-GEB." HAS A PLACE OF HONOR AND SHOULD NEVER BE DEBASED AS NIGGER OR NIGGA!

Our Youth are arising from the ashes of the neo slavery of the prison Industrial Complex
http://amen-parankh.blogspot.com/2014/01/n-g-heaven-and-earth-rise-up-from.html
Yes our youth are showing their @$$es to expose the underground economy...... I am a teacher with a home school, and I live with my students in their neighborhoods. I tutor, read to children, and teach STE-A-MM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Industrial Vocational Arts, Mathematics, Medicine) through urban agriculture on our urban farm. I see this every day. Our Youth are lowering their virtues like "flags" at half-mast as an SOS to the homicides and slaughter of their families and friends who are caught up in the criminal "In-Just U.S." system, the prison industrial complex and the military industrial complex. Sagging IS NOT A FASHION STATEMENT! Our youth have been the walking wounded suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress for the past 30 years! I'm not saying that I condone this behavior- But I also cannot condemn our young men (or Young Women) either. We must embrace our youth and use teachable moments to engage and connect with them.As there is a cure in nature, for every illness, Our Black Youth have gone feral, from the mundane delusions of the middle class value system and are generating their own freedom structures within the underground economy. Their Hip Hop Culture has become the cypher, the pathway map and talking drum for all youth around the planet. They are moving to a green movement to take on the accountability to the ecosystem of the planet and their role in the sustainability of their environment.

Niggas spelled backwards is "Saggin". Our Young Men and women are "showin their @$$" because they are Child Soldiers for the Underground Economy-/organized crime- The Up-side-down Pyramid- of big money prostitution, child abduction, strip club Pole dancing, selling body parts, drug dealings, guns, car thefts, shoplifting, burglary, killing and all other contraband and nefarious activities- happening even in our public school systems! In the United States, fashions have come and gone, but our young men have been saggin for over 20 years. Our Young women dress as prostitutes and seem to have no respect, principles or values. This is Normalizing abusive, nefarious illegal behavior, so that the victims accept their abuse as appropriate.

LibraryItem "/Library/CommonBehaviors/Normalizing
Normalizing - Normalizing is a tactic used to desensitize an individual to abusive, coercive or inappropriate behaviors. In essence, normalizing is the manipulation of another human being to get them to agree to, or accept something that is in conflict with the law, social norms or their own values, or basic code of behavior.
Description: Aggressors often work to make their victims feel less sensitive to, or more accepting of. offensive behavior by minimizing, down playing or mocking any negative reaction to inappropriate acts. In turn, victims often normalize bad behavior (the other person's and their own) by buying into the aggressor's logic and lowering their own standards. They learn to accept as normal what they once believed to be unacceptable, wrong, or dangerous. Normalizing is achieved when the victim no longer questions a behavior as inappropriate and starts to accept the perpetrator’s assertions that a questionable behavior is, in fact, normal and “healthy.”
Other Examples of Normalizing:
  • A cheating spouse who convinces their partner that affairs are harmless to their marriage.
  • Someone who enlists the help of a friend to destroy their own property in order to collect the insurance.
  • A pedophile grooming a child for sexual activity: "It's not wrong if we love each other."
  • Someone who sells pot out of your house: "This shouldn't even be illegal... who is it hurting?"
Since the loss of our nationhood as Black Brothers and Sisters from the 60s, we have moved from “Black Power” in the 60s to “Fight the Power That Be” and “Let’s Get it On” in the 70s. Then Cocaine, to Crack and HIV in the 80s and 90s. "Blood" used to mean "family" in the 60s. We used the phrase... "Whatz up Blood?" to display unity in the struggle for black empowerment. Now "Blood" means you are in a gangster organization a symbol of death- “Def” to our youth. Our youth have been "riding dirty" in the “sagging” period far too long… NO ONE Has the Right to take away our own self determination and our names then turn us into artificial, superficial consumers.

Words do hurt- Words have life, Words are living entities of power… We must Deprogram our minds from Post Traumatic Maafa and put on the true crowns self knowledge, Mental and physical health, spirituality; The Crowns of power and humanity- not Isfit and death. Many of our people are caught up in the prison industrial and Military industrial complexes caught under the shrouds of the Boule who play to role of field hands to maintain the status quot- Fraternities, Sororities, Masons, and Adopted Religions.

(This website is an attempt to speak on the word Negus- yet, no one else but Black People should take claim of OUR NAMES AND TITLES! - I disagree with their use of low melaninated people, who are included in this description...)

AMEN ANKH Urban Farm in Kansas City Missouri

 AMEN ANKH URBAN FARM

For Urban Families

Call us For Appointment: (816) 281-7704

Welcome to Urban neighborhood! We own an Urban Farm right "in da hood" of Kansas City, MO. There are so many green opportunities to live locally in the Urban communities of Kansas City.  It is so important that Afrikan Americans are models of successful families and property owners.

We highly advise growing your own plant based fruits and vegetables as well as  produce like eggs, bees and small animals whenever possible. This way you can build local nutrient-rich organic soil and adhere to sustainable gardening practices for highest food quality. Also, it is often better to purchase foods from local organic farmers markets or from small scale farms as opposed to large chain supermarkets.

A study in 1936, first reported the alarming rate of mineral depletion that modern mono-crop agriculture is having on our food supply. Unfortunately, it takes quite a bit of time to rebuild the soil once it is stripped of essential nutrients, in addition to the fact that it is not "cost-effective" for most big farming operations to invest in mineral supplementation

Today we have much less mineral content in mass-produced foods than we did 50 years ago due to other factors besides poor farming practices. Now, environmental pollutants as well as things like acidic rain are making it harder to replenish our foods (and livestock who eat them) with the minerals we need for our health and well-being.

So this is the best time to live in an urban neighborhood. With the Green Urban Agricultural transformations, growing food is an opportunity to support green economic development. Being able to grow a tomato right on your property, and sell that tomato to your neighbor, is empowering. This cultivates more vocational and positive entrepreneurial skills in our youth, as well as giving access to local, nutritious, healthy, naturally grown foods. The morning invites the neighborhood to stop by the farm. People are walking their dogs, or heading to work, It is a pleasure to be able to share my porch with someone who just walked down the street, and be able to offer a cup of coffee, tea, a smoothie, or a slice of zucchini bread fresh from the oven, or to converse with a driver who slows down, to ask about a tomato or pepper that caught their eye.  At the Amen Par Ankh(Sacred House of Liiving), we share wholistic Healing, Stress and Health counseling, Life Coaching, STE+A+M Education, like growing techniques, Foraging, Food Preservation, Wellness, Jewelry, Mandalas,  Yoga Classes, Meditation and Massage Therapy for wellness in our Indigo community.

Chapter 88-312 is the urban farm ordinance for Kansas City

Facing a stalemate between the food movement and real estate developers, Eastside representatives turned to alternative systems for aid. Former State Representative  and City council member, Sharon Sanders Brooks- along with Melba Curls, Cindy Circo and Terry Riley all saw the positive impact that less restrictive ordinances would provide for their constituents and supported amended ordinances, as a part of a 10-3 favor for reducing unemployment, and Community security. This also provided employment for Local At Risk Youth, the prison reentry populations and the elimination of food deserts. These community leaders looked to the mainstream food movement advocates to assist local “Agriculturalist and Green community advocates to oppose the real estate developers who were more concerned with the market value of real property and Re-gentrification.

Facing major economic development issues, eastside leaders leaned to the side of less regulation to create a pro-business environment.

Many Urban Agricultural Businesses, on the southwest side of urban Kansas City ran into difficulties, in past with Residential codes and maintaining a successful business.

It has become difficult for supervisors to instruct residential code inspectors to acknowledge and incorporate Urban Agricultural presence that has been passed since 2010, and still continue to write code citations on chapter 49 and Chapter 52 codes. Their lack of receptiveness to Urban Farms that are growing in residential neighborhoods, now that they are covered by 88 ordinances, can be daunting.

We have been successful in referring and identifying many herbs and naturally growing plant that were once considered as rank weeds, like Plantain, Poke Root, Clover, Lambs Quarter and Dandelion off their violation list. Since the inspectors only have jurisdiction and training on residential codes as residential properties, they are not referring these urban farms to the planning and zoning department that would cover the appropriate ordinances for this area as a home based business, or home cottage industry.  These ordinances have only been challenged by the few disadvantaged Black farmers and growers, who are virtually ignored by city prosecutors and Judges. This results in needless court dates, fines, and possible warrants on fledgling urban farmers who are already working diligently to emerge and compete in the already competitive food and growers market. This also creates an anti-business environment in the already devastated low economic development areas of 64127 -28 on the eastside of Kansas city, contrary to the support of the urban plans and downtown city hall leadership and representatives of Kansas City.

This makes it extremely difficult for activists and advocates to provide hope for distressed and disadvantaged at-risk youths, trying to escape underground economies and a failing job market.

We are also working to remediate water usage, using rain barrels and conserving gray water for reuse in the growing fields. We are using and installing IT tech assistance for optimal growth, food security, and automation. We are also Installing Solar alternative energy. We look to the future, where it is commonplace to incorporate urban agriculture in the cycle of urban residential living.

As an educator in the Kansas City public schools, I had often enjoyed the convenience of walking or using the bus or riding my bike, to get to the local school where I worked. My students and their parents always knew me from the neighborhood. Living in the city also made it easy to be involved and to support school sport games and activities, not only for my own children, but my students as well. In the mornings my neighbors will see me working on the farm, watering herbs and food, in our lot and front yard, while students pass by, on their way to school. I have actually had people drive up to the farm and pay for their order of food right from their cars. Students have often stopped by my home for tutoring and counseling. I even get visits from graduates who show me their newborns. By being in the metropolitan area, my daughter, Grandson and I love to visit the local shops, museum of art, libraries and other attractions. There are still a few Afrikan American Cafes, restaurants, events, concerts and a lot of local, small farmer's markets.

We need more Afrikan American families to stand their ground to rebuild an urban community and then to, encourage our children to inherit wealth of land and property investment, by perpetuating and returning to their family homesteads, instead of starting from scratch, every generation. It is important to teach our children about financial literacy and green vocational and entrepreneurial career paths. We need to change our perceptions from telling our children to "get out of the ghetto," instead, to encourage them to get their education to return to their communities to infuse and reinvigorate their neighborhoods with new green solutions for the future. We need to pursue more green economic sustainable development for the future of the next generation.
